Stacey Speers

Massage Therapy, Pediatric and Infant Massage, Post Natal massage, Prenatal Massage

Stacey Speers uses a slow, grounded and deeply present approach to cater to each individual’s specific needs. She has a particular interest in perinatal work, as she loves sharing those times in life of transitions and holding space for those emotions as they express in the body. She has been a practicing massage therapist since 2015, graduating in 2016 from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba (now called Evolve.) Throughout a massage with Stacey, there may be moments of silence in deep relaxation, some explanation of the physical work (ask about the Psoas muscle!) moments of conversation about passions, like ecology, fungi, dogs and wild plants and sometimes deep conversations about life philosophies.

Stacey has an authentic and non-judgmental way of being that allows you to arrive just as you are, so you can be as your body intends to be - in harmony with who you are in mind, body and spirit. Her goal is to guide you and your whole body home - reaching homeostasis, which is a balanced inner ecology where your body can thrive.

Slow, Intentional and Strong

In my work, I try to embrace the way of the sloth, which I perceive to be slow, intentional, caring, strong and wise. In life, I love to embrace the way of mullein- a soft leaf with a strong branch, and vibrant yellow flowers. It brings more nutrients into poor soil, leaving the environment in which it grows a little more rich before rebirth into another cycle of life. The Northern lights are important to me as they create an environment that creates moments of awe, wonder and curiosity about what life lies beyond that which we can see.

Interested in your well-being

(and that of the planet!)

Ecology is the study of relationships of organisms to one another and to their physical surroundings.  Bridging the relationship between your self and your wellbeing is what I am passionate about!

As for personal interests, I enjoy reading and chatting about pregnancy and childbearing, emotional literacy, ecology, mycology, herbalism, psychology and sharing perspectives and philosophies in general.  Allowing you to feel like you can be your genuine self is really important to me - so don’t worry about your clothes, if you shaved, if you do or don’t like to talk.  Come with curiosity and awe of what you might find inside your inner ecology, and leave feeling fuller, just as you might after you witness the dance of the auroras.
